Commencing on Wednesday 17th April, accomplished local artist and trainer, Janine Reeves will be leading a 5-week art exploration course within the beautiful surroundings of Old Hall Southwold. A graduate in Fine Art from the Art Academy in London, Janine won a prestigious scholarship to study watercolour in Rome under Carole Robb formerly of the New York Studio School. She now operates as a freelance artist painting and creating work for exhibition and sale.

Janine will be the guide to a small group of participants on a journey of self expression, exploring and observing their natural surroundings, encouraging the creation of free flowing and personal pieces of art using a variety of mediums. Focusing on watercolour paint, pastel pencils and collage, Janine will guide you through the nuance and technique of each form, whilst encouraging a sense of play and personal expression within a small, sociable and relaxed group environment.

No previous experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided.

Weather permitting, much of the course will take place outdoors (unless the weather is really bad!) so please dress in layers that are warm or can be removed, and if planning to join the walk after lunch wear appropriate footwear and carry some water. There are some steps on the walk and it may be muddy.
