ONE-DAY WORKSHOP
Spring Studies in Watercolour
MONDAY 11 MAY
9am
£80
Price is per person and includes a delicious Old Hall breakfast, a light lunch and afternoon tea.
A full list of suggested equipment and materials will be emailed to participants prior to the event.
Renowned local artist Andrew Pitt will be returning to Old Hall Southwold Cafe & Walks to lead another of his wonderful seasonal one-day workshops, exploring watercolour technique to help you capture the beauty, colour and nuance found within Spring landscapes.
Taking advantage of the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful site whilst the cafe is closed to the public, Andrew will teach by demonstration and show how he goes about capturing the light, shade, and colours prevalent in our landscapes as we leave the darker days of Winter behind and emerge into Spring. Participants may bring along their own source material to paint from, or take inspiration from our cafe’s beautiful vistas over the Blyth Estuary
Whether you’re a beginner at the start of your journey into painting or a more seasoned artist, this will be a wonderfully sociable and peaceful day for a small group of participants, celebrating the joy of watercolour under the guidance of an expert.

DARBY AND DANNY IN THE BIG BARN!
FRIDAY 19 JUNE 7:30pm
ticketS £10
Advance tickets only
They’re back… and this time they’re bigger. Join us on 19th June as local legends Darby & Danny return to Old Hall Southwold for a midsummer gig that’s set to blow the roof off!!
They’ve become so popular, they won’t fit in the café anymore — so we’re moving the whole party into the Big Barn to give everyone room to dance, sing and let loose.
We’re making a night of it, so we’ve invited the awesome team from The Forge Kitchen, who’ll be serving their insanely good burgers and dirty fries, and the brilliant Wonky Donkey Mobile Bar who'll be on hand to keep the dancing juice flowing!
Bring your friends, your family and your fold‑out chairs, wrap up warm, and get ready for a summer night of live music, great food and proper good vibes!
